Accessibility Statement
SAHM is committed to making sahm.sa accessible to all users, including people with disabilities, in line with Saudi Vision 2030 and the requirements of the Digital Government Authority (DGA) digital experience guidelines.
1. Conformance Level
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines WCAG 2.1 at level AA published by W3C, while observing the digital accessibility requirements set by Saudi government bodies.
2. What We Have Implemented
- Bilingual Arabic and English support with correct RTL direction and high color contrast.
- A logical heading structure (h1, h2, h3) and clear HTML semantics.
- Full keyboard navigation with visible focus indicators.
- Alternative text for informative images, and no reliance on color alone to convey meaning.
- Compatibility with major screen readers including NVDA, VoiceOver, and TalkBack.
3. Known Limitations
We continuously improve accessibility. Current known limitations we are working on:
- Some interactive content (charts, complex forms) may need additional ARIA labelling.
- Older video material may not yet include full captions.
- Some legacy PDF files may not be fully tagged for screen readers.
4. Verification Methods
We use a mix of automated tools (e.g. Lighthouse, Axe) and manual testing with screen readers to review conformance. Periodic testing with real users is conducted as needed.
5. Reporting Accessibility Issues
If you encounter an accessibility barrier or would like content in an alternative format, please contact us:

6. Ongoing Commitment
We review this statement regularly and whenever significant updates are made to the site. Your feedback helps us improve accessibility for everyone.
